We are hosting an Ask the Doc Night on Stem Cell Therapy and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). This innovative medicine is offered for dogs and cats suffering from osteoarthrosis, hip dysplasia, and other degenerative diseases. Whitesburg Animal Hospital, PC has been the only local veterinary hospital to offer this therapy for the last several years, and we are excited to share what we have learned on the process and results of stem cell therapy.
Stem cell therapy works through regenerative stem cells. These cells are your animal’s natural healing cells. They are derived from fat tissue and are capable of differentiating into a variety of tissue types. Stem cells have been proven to reduce pain and inflammation.
Seating is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible.

This month at Whitesburg Animal Hospital we are very excited to announce the addition of a veterinarian to our staff. Dr. Mark Russell’s son Dr. John Mark Russell will be joining our practice this month.
Dr. Russell will begin seeing patients at Whitesburg Animal Hospital on November 1st, 2019. We can’t wait for you to meet him! To schedule an appointment with Dr. John Mark Russell call us.
For more information on Dr. Russell you can read his official bio HERE.
Our enrichment program has grown beyond our capabilities so we are excited to be making changes to broaden our enrichment availability.
We are extremely proud of our Angel Adoption Program, which provides funds for the care and treatment of a homeless pet until a forever home can be found. The program runs solely on donations from our staff, clients, and community. Our work with the Angel Adoption Program is a labor of love. It is also an opportunity for us to give back to our clients and our community.
Put your money where your team is! Place your ticket into the bin of the team that holds your loyalty. The bins are located in our main lobby. On the morning of November 8th, the bin with the most tickets will be the bin we will draw a winner from. The winner will receive two tickets to the Iron Bowl and an overnight stay in a local hotel. It’s going to be a close call so be sure to support your team for a chance to watch them play in the Iron Bowl!
We know how frustrating it is when a client hears “we have to put Rover here until Fluffy is picked up.” We have been hard at work coming up with a solution to that problem and we are proud to announce we have done it!
We want to thank each and every one of you for bringing this problem to our attention and we love hearing your feedback on how to make your boarding experience here at Whitesburg Animal Hospital more pleasant. We look forward to working with you in executing this change as efficiently and effortlessly as possible.
