The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the accreditation of veterinary hospitals that treat companion animals in the United States and Canada.
Our animal hospital has undergone a rigorous evaluation process to ensure compliance with the AAHA's over 900 Standards of Accreditation. These standards cover a variety of topics, including hospital safety, patient care, diagnostics, pain management, infectious disease management, continuing education, dentistry, and emergency/urgent care.
AAFP Certified
Through high standards of practice and patient care, continuing education, and evidence-based medicine, the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) assists its members in improving the health and welfare of cats.
Whitesburg Animal Hospital is an American Association of Feline Practitioners certified Cat-Friendly hospital with specially trained staff, dedicated feline exam rooms and boarding areas, as well as a feline-only waiting area.
